CHECKERS is unstoppable in every possible way. His left front paw will fold under when walking but it gives him no pain...a birth defect. When you watch him, you couldn't tell that he has this defect from him walking. He clammers up & down stairs like he's Superman and he can jump onto the highest cat tree with a single leap. That's all to say, his club foot doesn't stop him inside his home. Outside, however, Checkers would be challenged to hop a fence, climb a tree & run from predators or loose dogs. He's so amazing, you'd never want to risk that anyway. Be prepared to be in love. Checkers is the MOST LOVEABLE orange nugget. He is engaging, wants your lap, your love and your bond. When he arrived at his foster home, he fit right in with fellow foster felines, loved the cat friendly dogs & could not get enough of being with his foster humans. Sometimes, when you get a handicap not of your choosing, it makes you a superstar because you shine by overcoming it. Checkers proves that in a rocking way. Be prepared to have your heart amazed.
