This is Elton John, or EJ as we call him. He was surrendered to us along with his three puppies and baby mama!
He’s a sweetheart who’s still learning how to be a loved dog. He loves pets and cuddles, but isn’t one for being carried. You can tell he just isn’t used to it. He gets along great with cats and dogs, not a mean bone in his body. He loves the kids in his foster home, but they are older and not grabby.
EJ can be finnicky with his food - he likes it with a couple spoonfuls of wet food on top of his kibble and some warm water mixed in, I know, he’s a diva! He does like to mark, only because he as never a house dog and was never trained to understand to potty outside, but he is learning. He wears a belly band and doesn’t mess it and gets along just fine in the house.
He is a sweet sweet boy who would love furry friends and someone to let him cuddle in the bed. He LOVES to snuggle up under the covers! While he will mark in the house, he will not have an accident in the bed, he's just looking for a warm body to snuggle up to.
