Jesse is a 5 year old chihuahua mix. He went from living under a bridge for who knows how long, to death row at a shelter. But now, Jesse is living with a wonderful foster family and learning how to just be a dog that is loved and taken care of!
Jesse loves attention and has come a long way. We can't imagine what his life was like, and it has taken a while for him to settle in and just enjoy life. He wags his tail now. A small pleasure many of us take for granted, yet something that took Jesse a long time to do. Now you can't stop his tail from going!
He’s good with other dogs and even loves to snuggle with them in their dog beds. He barks at cats, and while not trying to hurt them, may not do well with kittens or older cats. Has a tendency to be food territorial but who could blame him after what he went through. He is crate trained, will use pee pads and walks on a leash.
