Nimitz, a medium-haired, shiny, black kitty, with a few white whiskers, was one of 6 boys born on Memorial Day to a feral momma cat. Nim-Nim was named in honor of the U.S. Navy after Admiral Nimitz, at the suggestion of a Naval Academy graduate. Admiral Nimitz played a major role in Victory during WWII. Nimmers loves to play in the empty bathroom sink and sometimes naps there. A trickle of water is a source of great fun and silly kitten antics. Nimmy will sometimes play fetch, if you toss toys for him. His happy kitten tail position ( very forward) shows his eager friendliness. Nims loves to be the center of attention and enjoys snuggles. Burrowing under covers like a pro, he can be hard to find, until you peek under and see his golden eyes.
