Semper Fi is a gorgeous gray tabby with spiral designs on his sides. He was the smallest of a litter born to a feral mother on May 29th, Memorial Day weekend. At 5 weeks old, Semper and his 5 brothers had become very ill. The kittens were not really use to people, but little Sem-Sem crawled out from hiding and called for help boldly, until I understood and took them all in, and to the vet. They required syringe feeding and several rounds of antibiotics, before making a complete recovery. He was named Semper Fi (meaning always loyal in latin) because he saved himself and his brothers through his bravery seeking help, and in honor of the Marine Corps for Memorial Day. Sem has a giant purr, loves to burrow under covers and is a playful, sweet, talkative, little lover. His chirpy meow wrapped me right around his paw. |
